Lightweight
Fendertex fenders are up to 50% lighter than comparable inflatables — a direct result of replacing rigid materials with high-strength technical textile. Less weight means easier handling during deployment, less strain on crew, and more flexibility in how and where fenders are stored onboard.
Paint Safe
Conventional inflatables attract saltwater and grime over time, creating an abrasive surface that works against the hull it's meant to protect. Fendertex textile doesn't — it stays cleaner for longer and leaves zero residue on paintwork. For maximum protection, covers are recommended, but the textile itself is gentle on even the most carefully maintained hull.
Adapts to Temperature
Most fenders lose or gain pressure as temperatures shift, requiring constant adjustment. Fendertex fenders handle temperature changes differently — the elastic sections at the top and bottom expand and contract to manage air volume, while the middle section stays stable to maintain shape and protection. No pressure fluctuations, no reinflation required.
UV-Resistant
Most fenders rely on a surface coating for colour — one that fades and degrades with sun exposure over time. Fendertex textile is mass-dyed, meaning the colour runs through the entire fibre. There's no coating to wear away, so the colour stays true season after season.
Machine Washable
Fendertex fenders are fully machine washable at 40°C with standard detergent — including the bladder. No bleach, no tumble drying, no ironing. Air dry only. For day-to-day cleaning, a quick hose down is all that's needed. Built to stay looking good with minimal effort.
Built to last longer.
The inner bladder and textile cover are two separate components — by design. If the bladder is ever damaged, it can be replaced in minutes without discarding the cover. Replacement bladders are stocked and ready to ship directly from Fendertex, at a fraction of the cost of a full replacement. A fender that lasts as long as you need it to.
